08 March, 2007 – Reno, NV—CorEMR recently exhibited its Electronic Medical Records (EMR) program to Sheriff's and jail administrators from facilities across the western United States at the Western Sheriff's Association Show in Reno, Nevada.
CorEMR demonstrated its EMR software to WSA attendees at its booth. CorEMR also highlighted many new product enhancements and discussed the growing need for correctional facilities to have a comprehensive and affordable EMR system.
The CorEMR solution is a turnkey EMR system designed specifically for corrections facilities. It includes simple-to-use screens to create inmate medical and dental appointments, build and maintain medical record files, note off on doctors assessments and orders (Sick Call), record notes and procedures, order and administer medications, and retrieve patient histories. It easily integrates into existing Jail Management Systems (JMS) to eliminate re-entering of inmate booking data.
