PrimeCare provides medical care and administration to numerous counties in the state of Pennsylvania. Two sites initially ran CorEMR then over time and as facilities are ready, the software and servers are installed on new sites. Berks, Lancaster and Northampton have also been added to the CorEMR user list. PrimeCare implemented the CorEMR system to assist in coordinating their outside services, such as dental, mental care, and off site testing. They also want to efficiently handle multiple locations and multiple in house doctors. The correctional institute’s EMR is housed on-site on a closed network.
CorEMR was formed in 2004 to provide affordable electronic medical records systems for corrections facilities. The management team has more than 25 years experience in correctional facility management, as well as extensive experience in software development and solutions management.
